Shabbaton 2025

Join Us for Our First "In-House" Shabbaton

Friday, January 31-Saturday, February 1

Whether you have an hour or a full day, join the ST community for a meaningful and fun-filled experience of singing, praying, and playing games during our Shabbaton. We have activities for all ages, including a lively Friday night musical service, engaging Jewish learning sessions with guest speakers, community meals, and fun games. Sign up for any and all programs.

Rabbi Menachem Creditor is the Pearl and Ira Meyer Scholar-in-Residence at UJA Federation, New York. He is one of the leading voices in Progressive American Jewry.

Rabbi Jaymee Alpert is an innovative and energetic life coach, personal trainer, and rabbi, who brings together the psycho-emotional, spiritual, and physical to help people become stronger in mind and body.

Erin Beser is the Director of Community Inclusion for Jewish Learning Venture and founder of Adoughma (Ah-dough-ma), a program that provides hands-on sensory education for all ages and abilities.

Saturday, February 1

9:30am         Shabbat morning service

10:30am       Family Shabbat service + Adoughma, Torah Learning with Clay (ages 9 and younger)

11:15am        Alternative Musaf with Rabbi Jaymee Alpert, Neshama, Body, and Soul

12:00pm       Kiddush Lunch + Ice Cream Bar

12:30pm       Adoughma program (10 and older)

                      Lunch & Learn with Rabbi Menachem Creditor

                      Activities for younger children

2:00pm        Board Games & Learning Sessions (more information to come)

3:00pm        Teen Program with Rabbi Adam & ongoing programs for adults & children

5:00pm        Seudah Shlishit (light dinner)

important information

  • Our Shabbaton is geared for all ages! Activities will be offered on Friday evening and throughout Saturday for adults, children, and families.
  • Please wear comfortable clothes to Saturday morning Shabbat services. The Neshama: Body, and Soul Musaf service will be for all. Bring a yoga mat if you have one!
