STeens

Gesher - Shaarei Tikvah's in-house teen program. Gesher meets twice a month, one Saturday afternoon and one Sunday. 
*Saturday gatherings take place at Rabbi Adam's home, where he leads our teens in topical conversations from a Jewish perspective.
*Sunday programs will take place either at Shaarei Tikvah or on-site at non-profit organizations, where teens will gain experience in a variety of volunteer opportunities. Past partnering organizations include Green Bronx Machine (sustainability garden) and HOPE (food pantry).

Gesher Board - Our STeen leadership group.The Gesher Board meets twice a month, once virtually, and once in person to plan Gesher events for the STeen community. STeens are welcome to apply for the board, with plenty of positions available, based on their interests. All Gesher programs are planned by the Gesher Board.

Teen Collab - A brand new initiative launched by six lower Westchester conservative synagogues. Teen Collab offers three course options per module, in order to give our teens choices in their learning. Teen Collab takes place at the JCC-Midwestchester. Sha'ar Madrichim - Our religious school teacher-aides. Madrichim will work alongside our Sha'ar teachers to ensure the success and learning of all our students. Madrichim have a choice of which days and age groups they would like to work with (Monday-Thursday, 4:00-6:15 PM). Madrichim will participate in leadership training throughout the year.
